14 day full refund policy of the items purchase price for unopened items and items in new condition returned in original packaging. Up to a 15% restocking fee is charged at the sellers discretion based on item condition for the returned or canceled order items that are not defective or are from the result of the buyers mistake or change of mind of the purchase. If the order/item was shipped before notification was given to cancel the order, the actual shipping costs both to the seller and the costs to return the item from the buyer are not eligible for refund. For products/items bought with "free shipping" the actual shipping charges paid by seller to send the product to the buyers address will still apply as a shipping cost and are not eligible for refund. Return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the buyer unless the item arrived as damaged.

If you receive an item different than what was described, or that is clearly in worse condition than indicated, you must contact us at info@getpreparedstuff.com 801-999-0709 directly to report the defect or damage within 14 days of receiving the shipment and we should be able to reach an amicable agreement with one another and get the item replaced or refunded. If approved by the seller, you can return your item to the seller for a refund. Please note that items purchased need to be returned directly to:

To be eligible for a full refund, you must return your item in the same condition you received it, and the return must be postmarked within 30 days of shipment. You must however notify us within the 14 day return period after the item arrives either in writing or via email of your intent to return the item. When writing or emailing to arrange for its return, please be as descriptive as possible regarding the problem with the merchandise.

Shipping and handling charges for returning items are borne by the buyer. Note that refusing a shipment depending on the carrier still incurs shipping charges both to and from your address which are not refundable. To ensure the safe return of the merchandise, items valued at over $75 must be returned to the seller with a traceable shipping service and tracking number. If the order is valued at $100 or more, insure the shipment for the value of the merchandise and ship your return with a signature shipping service.

Sending the return via a trackable shipping method protects you in the event we don't receive your returned item.

getpreparedstuff.com strives to maintain a marketplace that is fair to both buyers and sellers. If you do not use a traceable method to return your item to us it will be difficult to refund in the case of loss.

Note that Delivery Confirmation through the U.S. Postal Service does not by default include a signature service and must be added as an option. You can also request insurance for USPS shipments.

Get Prepared Stuff can create full or partial refunds for buyers, which may include original shipping costs if the item was damaged upon delivery however, a refund of shipping costs for items returned for other reasons is not policy.

When you purchase an item via getpreparedstuff.eCrater.com, We charge your credit card the day your item ships.

Get Prepared Stuff may issue full or partial refunds for an order. If a new item is returned opened, or an item is returned as unwanted (i.e., not defective), we may deduct a reasonable restocking fee from your refund.

Refunds are typically processed within one week but can take 30 days or longer depending on the circumstances surrounding the refund to be cleared up. If a credit card was used via Paypal or Stripe the funds will be deposited back in those respective accounts.
